Prensa Becomes a Member of the Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association
As of the 10th of June 2010 Prensa officially became a member of the Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA).
ACLCA represents the major environmental consulting firms in Australia involved in the management and assessment of contaminated land. ACLCA was established in 1995 and provides an opportunity for member companies to examine, discuss and respond to issues associated with contaminated sites.
Acquiring and maintaining membership to ACLCA required certification through a reviewed annual return. The company must provide evidence of continuous improvement and ethical practices.
Throughout Prensa’s genesis we have developed procedures and work practices which meet or exceed ACLCA’s stringent requirements.
ACLCA has a range of sub-committees, including:
- Executive;
- Regulatory Affairs;
- Membership and Ethics;
- Occupational Health and Safety;
- Asbestos in Soils; and
- Young Professionals.
Prensa is an active member of the ACLCA and its employees hold positions on a number of the sub-committees.
