Prensa is a risk management consultancy which services clients throughout Australia. The business has over 300 consultants working out of offices in most Australian states and provides a range of risk management services including health and safety, occupational hygiene, hazardous materials, environment and emergency management.
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a genuine interest in health and safety, who would suit a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Working closely with and supporting experienced Health and Safety Consultants, the candidate will have an opportunity to develop skills in various disciplines and work across a broad range of industries.
In addition, there will be opportunities to gain experience in other services that Prensa provides, such as environment and hazardous materials.
The successful candidate will be provided with training in technical health and safety risks and be expected to quickly learn, understand and apply concepts related to legislation, Australian Standards and other reference material. Candidates keen to develop a combination of consulting, client relationship and technical skills will be well suited to the role.

Candidates with backgrounds or degrees in Work Health and Safety and/or Occupational Hygiene are encouraged to apply as your work will entail activities such as:
- Health and safety management system audits;
- Construction workplace safety audits;
- Risk assessments;
- Procedure development;
- Property risk audits; and
- Occupational exposure assessments relating to a range of exposures such as noise, methamphetamine, mould, respirable dust and crystalline silica.
To succeed in this role, candidates will require strong interpersonal and communication skills, confidence in a client facing environment and excellent report writing abilities. Experience in customer service roles with a commitment to high standards of service and ability to both lead, and work within, a team will be well regarded.
A current driver’s licence, private vehicle, the capacity to travel interstate and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are requirements for this role.
