Our Head Office is based in Melbourne, however, this exciting opportunity as Business Support Lead is to join our team working across all disciplines in our Milton office. 

Your new role…

In this role, you will be a pinnacle player in fostering the collaborative environment we pride ourselves on at Prensa. You will also provide assistance with planning, organisation and coordination that supports the entire office. Reporting directly to the Queensland State Manager, your key accountabilities for this diverse role are listed (but not limited to):

  • Assist our consultants with project support, including updating databases, invoices, and registers, liaising with external and internal stakeholders;
  • Coordinate project works with project managers;
  • Liaising with our travel manager for any Queensland travel needs; 
  • Answer and direct phone calls, assisting walk-in clients, and couriers, along with any facilities requests;
  • Managing and responding to the office administration email;
  • Onboarding assistance including putting together induction packs, updating the seating plan and phone directory, assisting with onboarding, and coordinating training needs;
  • Managing all Brisbane Fleet requests and servicing needs;
  • Managing office events/functions (including catering where required);
  • Inventory of office stationery and kitchen supplies; and
  • Other Ad-hoc duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate….

  • Great communication skills, friendly personality, professional presentation;
  • An ability to manage your own workload amid competing priorities;
  • A strong sense of teamwork and work well with others;
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Sound knowledge of setting up e-meetings (including Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc);
  • Excellent planning and organising skills;
  • Previous experience in a challenging administrative role; and
  • The ability to take initiative and problem-solve as issues arise.
